I have been looking at these patterns on Mary Jane’s Tearoom website for a long time, so when I spotted the kits on the Jamieson’s of Shetland stall at Edinburgh Yarn Festival I just had to buy one.

I chose Layla as those that know her will agree that Yvie’s hair is exactly like that!
My holiday week has been spent completing the doll and I’m sending it off to Yvie for an Easter present.
I also went a bit camera crazy – only to convince myself that Stuart has to give me some lessons!
